Are the cash prizes real?

“Yes — every cash tournament and head-to-head match has a real prize pool funded by entry fees. Winnings are withdrawn through Skillz, the platform behind every cash match: back to the card or PayPal account you deposited with first, then, for U.S. players, to a linked bank account or by paper check.”
