“If tubes labeled with Tough-Tags are placed into a boiling water bath immediately after being removed from cryogenic storage (-80°C), the drastic temperature change will shock the material and labels may fall off. We recommend that the labels be allowed to thaw at room temperature before being placed into a boiling water bath.”
