What is an air hoist?
Answers from the sources
J. D. Neuhaus
“A pneumatic hoist / air hoist is a power-driven lifting device that uses compressed air instead of electricity. It is used to lift and lower loads vertically and often also to move them horizontally – for example, in combination with a trolley. It is driven by a pneumatic motor that drives a chain via a gearbox.”
