How much does a solar system cost?

“A quality 6.6kW solar system typically costs $4,500 to $7,000 in Australia after the federal STC discount is applied, while larger 10 to 13kW systems generally range from $7,000 to $12,000 (pricing current as at 2026). Your final price depends on the panel and inverter brands, your roof type and access, and whether any switchboard upgrades are needed.”
