What does shipping to Germany and the EU cost?
“For orders in the eShop we charge a flat rate. It depends on the delivery country, which belongs to one of three shipping zones, and on the order value.”
How does customs clearance work for deliveries to the EU?
“We ship from Ostermundigen and handle import customs clearance (DDP). For Germany you receive a domestic delivery with a EUR invoice including German VAT; for this we need the EORI number of the invoice recipient.”
Do you deliver to other countries?
“Yes. For all other countries, including Malta and Cyprus, the minimum order value is EUR or CHF 350; delivery and terms are agreed individually (GTC clause 22).”
Which shipping methods do you offer?
“Depending on volume we ship by post or forwarder, and only as complete deliveries. Shipment tracking is in your customer account under My orders; on +41 31 930 18 18 we can tell you where your goods are at any time.”

“Semadeni processes plastics from design and tool and mould making through to series production: injection moulding, blow moulding, thermoforming, bending and laminating, CNC machining, welding, confectioning and finishing, engraving and laser marking, and quality assurance. Which service fits depends on quantity, geometry and material.”
Which process suits which quantity?
“For prototypes and small batches, CNC machining is economical because no tooling is required. For medium to large series, injection moulding pays off; blow and thermoforming suit hollow bodies and trays. We choose together based on quantity, tolerance and material.”
Does Semadeni also manufacture custom special parts?
“Yes. With our own design, tool and mould making, we realise customer-specific parts, assemblies and small batches. Describe the application, material and quantity – we check the suitable process and prepare a quote.”
Are the manufactured parts certified and documented?
“Semadeni is certified to ISO 9001; for regulated applications additionally to ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 22000 (food) and ISO/TS 22002-4 (food packaging). We supply first-article inspection reports and conformity evidence on a product- and application-specific basis, on request.”
What is the difference between applications and industry solutions?
“Industry solutions bundle our offering by market – laboratory, food or industry, for example. Application pages sort by the concrete task, such as liquid handling in the lab or hazardous-goods storage. Both views lead to the same products; choose the entry point that fits your question.”

Are the products approved for food contact or laboratory use?
“Suitability is always product- and application-specific. We carry articles for food contact under EU 10/2011 as well as autoclavable laboratory and clinic containers, and supply data sheets and certificates of conformity on request. We do not promise blanket suitability – we assess your specific case.”
