How does SuiteOp verify guests?
“SuiteOp automates guest screening with AI-powered ID and selfie verification, automatic background and watchlist checks, and the collection of guest signatures and rental agreements. It also includes built-in STR compliance monitoring for local regulations.”
Which smart devices does SuiteOp work with?

Does Opal act without asking me?
“Not in the app. When Opal wants to change something, like creating a task, issuing a door code or unlocking a door, it shows you a card to approve or reject first. Playbooks run on their own once you publish them, and the inbox agent only sends replies on its own if you set it to.”

Can I use SuiteOp from Claude or ChatGPT?
“Yes. SuiteOp has a hosted MCP server, so you can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code or any app that supports remote MCP. You sign in with your SuiteOp login, approve the access, and the app can look things up and make changes within what your role allows.”
Which languages does Opal reply in?
“Opal replies to each guest in the language they write in, and can translate any conversation for your team.”
What does SuiteOp monitor?
“Noise, temperature, humidity and CO₂ from Netatmo sensors; people, vehicles, motion and doorbell presses from Ring and UniFi Protect cameras; and the connection and battery of every lock, sensor, thermostat and camera you connect.”
Does it record what guests say?
“No. Noise sensors measure volume in decibels, about every five minutes. They do not and cannot record audio, voices or conversations.”
What happens when a party starts?
“During quiet hours, once noise has stayed above your Max dB for 10 minutes, the guest gets a message and a note goes on the reservation. If it keeps going, your team is warned at 30 minutes and again at 50, by app, text, email or Slack, until it has been quiet for 30 minutes.”
Where should cameras go?
“On entries, driveways and other exterior areas. Cameras and sensors are never shown to guests in their Portal; they stay private to your team, with clips kept for 180 days.”
How are cleaning tasks created?
“From your reservations. You set a schedule once, for example a clean after every check-out, finished before the next check-in, and SuiteOp creates the task for every stay. If the dates change, the stay moves to another unit or it’s cancelled, the task follows.”
How does auto-assignment decide who gets a task?
“It only considers people who cover that property, have the skill the task needs and are working that day, then picks whoever has the fewest hours booked. Ties go to the person closest to their other jobs. Approved time off moves their work to someone else.”
What does the AI photo check look at?
“You write what a photo step should show, like “four pillows, bed tightly made”. Opal checks each photo against it and returns a pass or a flag with a reason. Flags go to a manager to review, and the cleaner can retake the photo. It never blocks a cleaner from finishing.”
Do guests need to download an app?
“No. Every reservation gets its own link, sent by text or email, that opens in any browser. Guests can add it to Apple or Google Wallet so the door code is always one tap away, even offline.”
Can each brand or property have its own Portal?
“Yes. Create as many Portals and brands as you need, each with its own colours, fonts, domain and content, at no extra cost. Every reservation gets the right one automatically.”
Does it work with my PMS and smart locks?
“Yes. SuiteOp connects to 150+ tools, including 30+ PMS platforms and the major smart-lock brands, so stay details, door codes and devices follow each booking.”
Can I use Portals as an Airbnb guest portal?
“Yes. Connect Airbnb directly or through your PMS, and every Airbnb reservation gets its own Portal, with pre-check-in steps you can show or hide for Airbnb guests. Share the link from Airbnb’s scheduled messages, and with a connected smart lock SuiteOp also emails the guest their door code and a link to their Portal.”
