“Scattering ashes at sea is generally permitted without the need for a licence. However, it's advisable to choose locations that are not near marinas, fisheries, or water treatment facilities, and to ensure the area is not within 1 kilometre of a drinking water supply. Aerial Ashes can guide you in selecting appropriate locations for sea-based scattering.”
